Sunday Service

9 AM | 705 S. King Street, Ste. 106

  • Practical lessons from the Bible towards living your best life

  • Worship in community

  • Conversations on the Couch with everyday people living out their faith

  • We try our best to model ourselves after the early church in the Book of Acts.  We teach, ask questions, support each other, and connect personally with everyone.

  • Casual and friendly atmosphere.  Come as you are. We're a laid back community of people with serious faith seeking God's best for our life.

  • Childrens program (pre-school through middle school) runs concurrently with the Adult service.

At Formation Church, we believe that Sunday Service should be interactive, engaging, and a safe place to ask honest questions and receive encouragement in your personal journey to living your best life.

"Practicing the Way" are ancient practices of Jesus that make room for God to form who we are and live a more fulfilling life.

The Generosity Practice:

Orienting our hearts to the abundance mentality of Jesus

How it works:

  • Each week for four weeks we  try our best to integrate one aspect of a Practice into our lives.

  • On the fifth week we pause to reflect, a vital part of spiritual formation.

  • Every Sunday Step1 Groups of 3-5 people discuss and support one another with the Practice.

  • Optional Step2 Groups spend more time during the week in deeper discussion and support on the Practice.

ABOUT us

We are a group of ordinary people who are sinners, no better than anyone else, doing our best to follow what Jesus said to do.  In our personal journeys that we share in community, we focus on who we are becoming for the sake of others.  Our spiritual formation process can be summarized as denying self, surrendering fully, and following daily.  This is from Matthew 16: 24 "Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me."  The Bible is God's Word and we hold fast to its truths and principles.  We are committed to follow Jesus and His instructions to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to go out and reach people with His love where we live and throughout the world.
