SPIRITUAL FORMATION
What does “Spiritual Formation” mean?
2
3

Spiritual formation is the intentional shaping of our inner life so that our outer life reflects love, purpose, and goodness for the sake of others. It is about becoming the kind of person whose life bears healthy fruit—personally, relationally, and communally.

For those who follow Jesus, it is the process of becoming Christlike by being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what He did, for the sake of others.

How can I learn more about Jesus?
2
3
There are many ways we equip people to learn more about Jesus. (1) Weekly Sunday teachings focus on what Jesus said and did. (2) The Alpha course is offered during the year. (3) Workshops and classes are open to the public during the year. (4) Start on your own by reading one of the gospels (four books in the Bible that specifically describe the life and works of Jesus). We recommend starting with the Book of Matthew. For a Bible translation, we like to use the New International Version (NIV) or New Living Translation (NLT).
