DEPENDENCE
Jeremiah 17:7–8
Blessed are those who depend completely on God. Like a tree planted by flowing water, our roots grow deep, nourished by His presence. When we release everything to Him, we begin to experience supernatural peace.
SURRENDER
We discern God’s will when we fully surrender to Him. Like releasing control to a trusted pilot, surrender means letting go — not out of weakness, but faith. We’re here to bless and love others, holding nothing back from the One who gave us everything.
GRACE
Grace is more than unmerited favor — it is God’s empowering presence that enables us to live faithfully and fruitfully. By His grace, we become who we are meant to be and receive the strength to do all things through Him.
ALIGNMENT
We seek to stay aligned with God’s will and the unique calling He has placed on our lives.
God blesses us to be a blessing — as Jesus came to serve (Matthew 20:28), as God called Moses to lead (Genesis 12:2–3), and as every good gift flows from above (James 1:17).
Each day we ask, “What do I have to give today?”
PERSEVERANCE IN OPPOSITION
When you obey God, expect resistance. Yet do not stop — keep trusting and move forward.
“The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
(1 John 4:4; Ephesians 6:10–18; 1 Peter 5:9)
ABIDE IN CHRIST
John 15:4
To abide means to remain connected — through Scripture, prayer, gratitude, and daily awareness of His presence. As we stay near to Jesus, our lives naturally bear fruit that honors Him.
TRUST GOD’S DIRECTION
Even when outcomes shift or prayers seem unanswered, we trust that God can redirect our steps. When we don’t know how to pray, we ask the Holy Spirit to intercede — and those prayers never go unanswered.
CHARACTER ABOVE TALENT
1 Samuel 16:7
Skill and gifting may open doors, but it is character — moral integrity, humility, and steadfast love — that sustains us. God looks at the heart, not appearances or ability.
HUMILITY
Jesus modeled humility in word and action. To follow Him is to take up our cross daily, putting others before ourselves, trusting God to lift us up in His time. Humility is strength under surrender — the soil where grace grows.
PEOPLE OVER TASK
The Church differs from all other organizations in one crucial way: we place people over task.
In the world, efficiency and productivity are often the highest currencies, and people can become expendable in pursuit of a goal. But in the Kingdom of Heaven — the kingdom that has come near and that followers of Christ are called to reflect — the health, dignity, and care of every person always come first.
Jesus modeled this heart when He told the parable of the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who is lost. In His Kingdom, no person is expendable. Every life matters more than the task itself. Matthew 18: 12-14.
DECLARATION OF WHO WE ARE
“Who we are is reflected in how we live our lives and our relationships, creating natural opportunities to share the truths of The Good Life in Christ Jesus.”
“Discipleship reaches the root of the human problem — the character of the inner life.”
