This week there was a lot going on in preparation for our impending trip to move Joshua into college. I started my sabbath six hours later than usual. I’m running out of words to describe my emotions of Joshua leaving: sad, excited, worried, anxious, wondering, reflective, happy, … What a mixed bag of emotions!
Leading up to my sabbath I finished writing and planning all 11 weeks of our up-coming James Camino series that starts when I return from moving Joshua into college. It flowed so well that I feel confident that it must’ve been the LORD guiding me. Our series will include a devotional, blog, practice, and discussion. The three areas of our life that undergird our walk as Christians should always be: Scripture, Spirit, Practices.
Feeling the cool morning trade winds in my backyard, the morning sun rising over the mountain, birds chirping, and the smell of the Hawaii air. God is good!
