Pastor Chelsey Villamin organized an absolutely beautiful service for keiki who knew the Oda family children. In Chelsey’s words,
“It was phenomenal! Holy Spirit was sooooo present and every heart was touched by his peace. God created the sweetest safe space for tears to flow. Hugs to be shared.
Incredible experience… grieving in unity, getting to share memories and write to Saku, Nana and Orion. It was an honor to see the children embrace and grieve and comfort one another and receive. Receive peace. I shared that as we were there (when they were writing their letters) God gave me the vision to plant their letters with a tree in Manoa in their honor. I shared the vision God showed me through this picture of the 3 kids in heaven weeks ago.
EVERYONE WAS SO INCREDIBLY BLESSED BY YOUR THOUGHTFULNESS through the stunning journals and waters! The kids were so so so excited about their gift! Thank you!!!
So extravagantly generous and thoughtful of you! Thank you!!!!”
Church, I have difficulty putting into words what I felt to see these children who knew the Oda’s file in. I couldn’t help but empathize what they’re going through. No one should have to deal with the darkness that they experienced, especially that young. But our God is greater, awesome in power, and through Chelsey’s obedience and love, Jesus was manifest in Manoa and the Holy Spirit ministered hearts wherever they are at.
