I am the Resurrection and the Life
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.”
John 11:25-26, NIV
One of the important principles about our faith in following Christ is that there is death so that there is life; death to our old life so that we can become “born again” in Christ.
Baptism is one such example of death and resurrection. When we die, in our sins, and live a life following Jesus, we receive a rebirth into an abundant life. When we die, in our physical life here on earth, we live a life in eternity with Jesus.
