Wow. KCF, yet another powerful word sent to us by someone hand-picked by God to deliver His message. It’s time. It’s time for us as followers of Christ to rise-up and as Pastor Shea said, “live in your God-given identity, assignment, and authority.” It starts with the knowledge that in 1 John 3:8 Jesus came to wage war against darkness. You, as a Christ follower were saved to destroy the devil’s work around you. Being a follower of Jesus is about engaging in the spiritual realm to do battle against the powers of darkness. Rise up! How? 1. Adopt – Embrace your identity as a child of God. 2. Assignment – Accept your assignment for good works to demonstrate the kingdom of heaven wherever God has placed you. 3. Authority – Walk in your authority that Jesus has given you. 4. Adoration – Prioritize your time with the Father, no matter what. The beginning and the end of this process is His love and us loving Him. This, is the shema that we speak at least weekly together.
