Talking to God
“2He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father,[a] hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread. 4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”

Luke 11: 2-4, NIV”

Over these next four weeks of the Prayer Practice we will be unpacking “Prayer: the medium through which we communicate and commune with God” through four movements – talking to God, talking with God, listening to God, and being with God. We start with the Lord’s Prayer in Luke 11: 2-4, diving deeply to understand the meaning when we say that God is our Father, is as close as the air, and prayer is worshipful enjoyment of our Father’s company. We also acknowledge that our prayers in fact do make a difference.
